We’re pleased to welcome Yokohama International School (YIS) as one of our newest CIRCLE partners (customers)!

Founded in 1924, YIS is one of Japan’s longest-established international schools. Over the past century, it has grown from just 6 students into a thriving international community, offering International Baccalaureate (IB) education from early childhood through Grade 12.

When YIS opened its beautiful new campus, they installed an in-house phone system from Europe. However, the days of installing locally are gone! After consulting several other schools already using CIRCLE, the team decided it was time to make the move to the cloud!

Today, YIS uses CIRCLE’s cloud phone system with desk phones, PC softphones, and mobile apps (on iPhone), giving staff greater flexibility in how and where they communicate. Whether they’re at their desks or moving around campus, staff have more options for staying connected throughout the school day. The system also supports announcements through the school’s PA system, making it easier to communicate with faculty and students across campus.

We’re delighted to support such a respected institution and look forward to helping the YIS team stay connected for years to come.
