When it comes to the deskphones, traditionally, the device has a handset with a speaker and mic. However with Snom deskphones, you can also connect a headset to promote fatigue free calling. A headset is essentially headphones equipped with a microphone. This means that you don't need a separate mic for making calls while listening to the audio. Using a headset allows for hands-free operation of the telephone, allowing you to focus solely on the call without typing with one hand or trying to hold the handset up between your ear and shoulder.
