It generally starts with 0 and consists of a total of 10 digits. The first digit ‘0’ represents the country. The next nine digits are represented by letters of the alphabet using ABCDEFGHJ. The absence of the letter ‘I’ in the alphabet is to avoid confusion with the number ‘1’.
More Specifically, the five digits (A-E) that come after 0, represent the combination of the area code + the local area code. The following four digits (F-J) are the subscriber number. For this reason, the nine-digit part from AB to J following 0 is called the 0ABJ number.
