April 18, 2016 Whether It’s Mitel Or Polycom, Your Business Phone Runs On iPBX Cloud Phones
The big news this last Friday was that Mitel Networks has purchased yet another communications company. What does communications mean? It means telephone, chat, email, and the other essential areas that companies and even government use to talk with each other.
At iPBX cloud phone services, we are proud of our Mitel connections. Our datacenter services started based on ShoreTel platform, but we found it was just not robust enough for business (or enterprise) class services over the internet. We migrate d everyone to fully redundant carrier-grade Mitel platforms and moved the Tokyo datacenter in September 2015.
On iPBX Hosting, we have encryption between the Mitel phones at organizations around Japan (and the globe for that matter) and our datacenters in Tokyo and Osaka. However, at the same time we have many partners using their own Polycom phones that they brought from the other cloud PBX companies.
So, what does the iPBX team think about Mitel swallowing up Polycom? We think it’s great news and glad to welcome people with either products onto Japan’s most reliable and cost-effective cloud PBX service.
